Cosimo Di Leo Ricatto è nato a Catania,ma vive fra Catania e New York .
Allievo del Maestro Giovanni Migliara, ha frequentato nel 1968 la Scuola d'arte di Siracusa e poi successivamente nel 1973 l'Accademia BB.AA. di Brera-Milano.

il neoprene colorato, ritagliato e cucito o incollato come per uno speciale
uso domestico,ha selezionato e tradotto in "pittura parlata" alcune 
"nuvolette parlanti", unitariamente concepite a partire dalla fine del 1999
come ricerca sul significato del linguaggio del comunicare attraverso la
scrittura.
